Wednesday evening Barranca and Lake walkers are taking a Winter break. We will resume again next Spring, the first week after Daylight Savings Time returns. |

Those of us involved in setting up, staffing and advertising shows for the Needle Nose Crew try to keep all the information as current as possible. We try to schedule a single event ever two weeks, but somehow, requests and ideas just keep rolling in. Mind you, we’re not complaining; quite the opposite. We know that every event is important and necessary if we are to successfully promote the private adoption of these wonderful animals we love so dearly. So please, continue to send in all the great ideas, and we’ll schedule just as many as we possibly can. We’ll also continue to list upcoming events in our monthly newsletter so that all of you may join in as many as you would like. Remember, you don’t need a phone call asking you to attend. You and your greys are welcome to join in at almost all events whether you can come for thirty minutes or spend the entire day. There are a few events such as the American Family Pet Show and the Irvine Harvest Festival, which limit the number of people and dogs we can include. However, the majority of our shows are open to one and all for as long as you like! If you decide to attend an event, you have always been able to call Carole Oglesbee at 949 552-1373 to receive additional information such as times and directions. Of course, we say you can call, and then we’re not home. Big help! In order to solve some of the no one’s home problem, we’re trying a "new invention". You may call 949 552-1373 and the voice mail message will give you the details on the upcoming events for that particular week. The support from everyone at all the shows is nothing short of spectacular, and the greyhounds are entering new homes with an exciting regularity. Keep up your efforts and good things will come to you in return.
